Tucked into lush greenery on Bucana Beach, The Sanctuary is a small, newly-renovated retreat for travellers who came to El Nido for the quiet — the empty sand, the slow mornings, the sound of the sea instead of a crowd.
Rustic-elegant rooms open onto the garden and the bay. Mornings begin with hot coffee delivered to your patio; days drift between the hammock, the beach bar, and island-hopping tours arranged from the front desk. It's remote by design, and personal by nature.

Where to start! Massive thanks to Dean and Jenna, who went way beyond being mere hosts — they became firm friends. All of their staff were friendly and responsive, making my stay the stuff dreams are made of. I was a guest for 8 weeks. The food was delicious — especially the salads, burgers and toasted sandwiches — and the Wi-Fi stable and reliable. I will definitely return.
The owners Dean and his wife went well beyond, going out of their way to make sure we were totally taken care of. Amazing view and the food was excellent. Staff treated us like family — of course we will stay again!

Everything about this place exceeds expectations. The welcoming vibe was over the top from the owners and staff. It's a newly renovated place so we love the fresh and clean feel. LOVE THE FOOD!!! The owners help navigate you step by step for transport.
Staff were friendly, helpful and provided great service. The owner was on site to make our stay even better. Each morning, hot water for coffee or tea is delivered to the patio of each room. He even told each guest when a turtle release would happen on the beach!
